This is related to http://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/f/273/t/92713.aspx, but is a slightly different topic.
I tried the "raster display on/off" keyin, but that turns all the rasters in a file on/off. Is there a way to identify a particular raster using this method?
Hi John,
Regarding the ability to turn on/off rasters independently, one method is to assign each raster to a level and then use level display to control visibility. To do this :-
Open the Raster Manager
Double click on the image to control ( opens the settings ' Element Information ' dialog )
Under 'General' adjust the ' Level ' as required
Open the 'Level Display' dialog and toggle the level the raster has been assigned to ( or use the level display keyin's for example:- level set display off “level 1” )
Carl:
This is what I ended up doing (turning on/off the level that the raster is on). I was just curious if the raster display keyin would work on individual rasters.
An alternative is to combine ' imgmanger ' keyins to select individual rasters in a particular view and turn them off / on.
Turn off :-
IMGMANAGER IMAGE SELECT [ViewNumber] [Filename]; imgmanager image setoff [ViewNumber]; IMGMANAGER IMAGE Unselect
Turn on :-
IMGMANAGER IMAGE SELECT [ViewNumber] [Filename]; imgmanager image seton [ViewNumber]; IMGMANAGER IMAGE Unselect

Thanks, Carl. Now I have several options to look at.
