In MicroStation V8i Select Series 3 you are able to display latitude and longitude coordinates by selecting my the active acs in the "Auxiliary Coordinate" dialog and defining geographic coordinate system and using the keyin 'set tpmode acslocate.' However, is there a way to change the display to show northing and easting values with a labels denoting the northing and easting values respectively?
If you have a Geographic Coordinate System set, make sure you have activated the geographic coordinate system-based ACS from Utilities > Auxiliary Coordinates dialog.
The ACS Coordinates, used in conjunction with the ACS Postion can alter the anuglar/linear nature of the unit for the readout (D:M:S, vs E,N) with their respective symbol, but I don't think the direction can be changed from Easting, Northing (to Northing, Easting). Inga had a Wiki about this at one point, although I can't seem to find it at the moment. If someone knows otherwise, please share it with us.
