Dear All,
I want to create a linestyle with filled head and tail at the ends of line. How to create it using line style editor? Refer the attached screenshot
Hi Dharmarajan,
Have a look at the tutorial in this link:
communities.bentley.com/.../1148.aspx
(Also: communities.bentley.com/.../all-about-custom-line-styles.aspx)
Depending on if you want the line that 'connects' the arrow and the tail to be stretchable, and whether or not your linestyle should be repetitive, you should consider using just Stroke patterns in your definition, or use a base stroke pattern and add the arrow and the tail as a symbol.

When I use stroke pattern, the arrow symbol will be repeated at a interval of regular distance as show in screenshot(Red Color element). But the expected output is symbol should be available only at the end of line as shown in screenshot(Yellow Color element).
you need to write a true instructional manual on his and update the bentley help... the old intergraph hard copy manual does explain a lot but...its still not user friendly and not enough examples...

There already exists a tutorial on Ask Inga - http://communities.bentley.com/communities/other_communities/askinga/w/askinga/1148.aspx
But I see that it is not comprehensive. I will see what I can come up with - to either make a part 2 for that, or one of my own.
I don't see an edit post button, so let me add this:
That tutorial is actually part 2 of an article already, so I might be creating a part 3.
I made this video a few years ago.
Not saying it's anything great, but as long as we're discussing tutorials, it's just another one, that's all. It may or may not help somebody. :)
Hmm, I meant to just post a link. And yeah, I don't see an Edit Post button either.

It's not very obvious, and it's a little touchy. When you are looking at the post there is an option button top-right (see screenshot). If it's your post it includes an Edit option. If it's not your post you see only Flag as spam/abuse. That option button disappears once you press the Reply button.
