    Any update please, June is coming soon.

  • What a super formal reply!

    KL, from the past history, I don't think a major release would be done within one year. Particularly Bentley Colleagues are getting old and would not work as effective as in the past. I think it would be published on Dec. Be Patient~

    Well, we're each of us growing older.  I'm not sure how effective I was when I was young, so whether I'm less effective now is debatable.  Fortunately, I can no longer remember being young, so can't have that debate.

  • I don't believe is has much to do with getting old or Bentley.  As far back as I can remember software developers and product releases has always operated in some sort of time warp.

    It's the young people who are naive enough to believe tomorrow really means tomorrow and next week means next week that is the problem.   You need to learn how to translate.

    Real Time / Development time

    tomorrow = next week

    next week = next month

    next month = next quarter

    next quarter = next year ... or two

  • What an older Developer cannot do:

    Everyday spend 16+ hrs for the work (including Saturday & Sunday). Of course, that is inhuman in USA.

    But at here it is very common to see that. If Bentley could ask developers to do that, the development time would be the half.
