I am using Power GEOPAK 08.11.07.615, I know its technically GEOPAK but this is a MicroStation function. Sometimes when I access a file, levels will not show up in the reference file even though they were there when first attached and the level display shows it being toggled on? I have to detach the reference and then reattach then the levels shows up. Any idea as to why this is happening?
Could you be a bit more specific on what you mean by "not showing up" ? Do you mean that they are physically not in the level manager list ? or do you mean that they are there in the list, it is just that the "elements" on the level are not showing up ?

Part 2 of your question is what's happening. the level shows up in level display dialog box and it shows that the level is on (highlighted) but the level does not show up on the screen. I turn the level off then back on but the level still doesn't displays on the screen so I have to detach and reattach and it shows up.
Hello Dale,
Strange one. Have you checked if the levels are on for View Display and Global Display in the Level Display dialog?
Regards,
yes I did check and they are both displayed. It reappears when I detach and reattach so I wouldn't imagine that that would be the problem. It wouldn't have anything to do with setting the level display option to Never would it?
I don't think so. Do any of the elements in the reference show, as in, Is it just certain levels or all levels in the reference? Can you reproduce the issue consistently, would you be able to post example files with the issue by any chance?
