Is it possible using a MicroStation Linear dimension to have a third text line (a second line below dim line)? I do not think it's possible just wanted to see if someone was able to configure this.
We currently just place text, when needed, as the third line.
I have attached the MicroStation file that has the Dimension style used.
Thanks for any help.

I tried to include a screen capture of said dimension but it doesn't show. So I will attach instead.
Thanks again.
can you be more specific .. what exactly do you want to see it display ....can you fake one with just the way you want it to look.. and post here....dont use send line and third line in text but real labels they way you want it to look with just text tools..so we can work out what you want....
As I have some ideas how it could be done but not quicker than place dim and then add text...maybe and a second dim style with no leaders no arrows .. and different units... what ever....

There is an example attached "Dimension with Three Lines.png" that shows what is needed in my second post, there is a dgn file attached to the first post.
Currently when we need an additional line "third line" of text in a dimension we use the Place Text command. But I was wondering if there is a way to configure dimension settings so the text is a part of the dimension. It would be nice if the Secondary Units text could be wrapped, but it doesn't look like that's possible.
Again, I don't think it's possible, just checking to see how others deal with this.
Thanks.
Have you tried using dual dimensioning and editing the secondary dimension?
I was trying to do this the other day and could not seem to get it to work - posted a question and after being told it still works, tried again and had no problem.
When you add a carriage return to a dimension, it seems to always make a line spacing of zero. You have to edit it and in the text style dialog box, change it. And I believe it only works after you first accept the first edit to make it two lines.

both your examples show generic text now I want to know if its supposed to be a real dimension ie a number related to the properties of a selected object or just 2 extra lines of plane text that is always the same text or does it change...the out comes are both different so a possible solution would also be different depending on what you actually want...
