SS3 AccuDraw Distance Indexing setting

Hi, running version 08.11.09.357

I just noticed something strange and wondered if others have experienced this. I have the Distance Indexing setting enabled, however, it doesn't seem to reset the command. eg copy a line parallel. Copy the new line again and it shows me the lock at the same distance. If I then copy another line and do the same but make the distance greater, when I copy the new line, it only remembers the first shorter distance ?

Thanks

Ben

Are you referring to the Distance toggle in the Coordinates tab?   If so, this refers to the distance in screen pixels  that the pointer must move from the AccuDraw origin in order to place a new data point. The minimum distance is controlled by the Tolerance setting.

This setting plays no role in AccuDraw indexing onto the previous distance which is shown with a little tick mark.  That mark is controlled by the previous distance you entered.
