Our office has upgraded from XP to Win7 and after ironing out most of the problems, one curious issue remains. When a user clicks on "Change Attributes", an empty dialogbox shows up. Can anybody shed some light on this for us?
What does it mean in detail : upgraded from xp to win7?
What are the detailed computer specs (graphic card vendor and latest driver)?
Regards

Hi,
Could you please mention what version of Microstation are you using and if you got any error message during installation?
Maria
I don't think there were any error messages because the IT guy brought in new computers with Windows 7, installed the latest version of Microstation SS3, linked the desktop icon to the CAD standards directory and expected it to work.
Do you know how he linked the desktop icon to Cad standards?
Has he changed the target from MicroStation Shortcut to point to the right workspaces (cad standards)?
Can you tell me the new path? is something like this -wcS:\CAD\Workspace\startup.cfg”
If so if you open the startup.cfg using text editor can you see if the _USTN_WORKSPACEROOT points to the correct location of the workspaces folder?
The link target is "-wRB:\CADSTANDARDS\Micro-CAD\MicrostationV8i\WorkSpace" and has never pointed to "startup.config"
