Just tried to attached a two page pdf as a raster to a design model and got the following error in message centre - "PDF files with any operation restrictions are not supported - (8071)
Never seen this before. What does it mean and how do I resolve this?

Restriction validation was added to Microstation V8i after the TR 238388 was filed for this issue. This issue does not occur in XM.

So how do i do this in SS3? Seems like a step back to me.

Hi,The PDF is secured.
I will contact development to see if TR mentioned by Derval will be solved any time soon as it was filed a good while ago.
I filed new defect 88997.
To restrict access seems like a backwards step. Hopefully ti can be sorted fro the next release.
To get over the problem I printed the page I needed and then scanned on our scanner. Not ideal but it worked!
