I don't know if this is just me or if this is a glitch in SS3 but... If you have your working units set to US Survey Feet when you measure an area the only area unit option available is " Square ' ". If you switch back to regular 'FEET' you get three options. "Square ft", "Acre (International)", and "Acre (US Survey)".
I'm wondering if my units definition file is bad or if something else is going on. Any ideas?

this issue has been logged as a Trouble report.
Workaround: Use AreaTool utility from the Bentley Library on the Be Communities as suggested in the discussion.
