I have a 3D model with only three render modi: Hidden Line, Smooth and Wireframe. In the EXAMPLES/BUILDING/Visualization-Master.dgn there are a whole bunch of nice Styles with Sky Sphere etc. so I thought If I link to that file's "drawingseed.dgnlib" I should have access to those Display Styles in all my 3D models. Unfortunately this doesn't work. The Display Styles in "drawingseed.dgnlib" are not listed in my 3D model (See attachment).
If MS_DISPLAYSTYLE_LIBLIST isn't the way, how can I get these Styles to show in all my dgns?
MS_DISPLAYSTYLE_LIBLIST filters the dgnlib files looking for Display Styles only in those files, but the file must be included in this variable MS_DGNLIBLIST. So if you had 6 dgnlib files defined in MS_DGNLIBLIST but you only wanted to show the Display Styles from one of those files you add only that file to MS_DISPLAYSTYLE_LIBLIST.
See Attachment.
That did the trick. I wonder why there is a MS_DISPLAYSTYLE_LIBLIST if not for that particular purpose
Did you try to point MS_DGNLIBLIST to drawingseed.dgnlib?
