If I use the note leader call out to number an item say D2 there doesnt appear to be away to copy increment the leader like you can with text... I think we need a tool to do this as its pretty standard work in cad..
Currentley I have to just do a place note leader ( with a space for the text give in line leader line) then place the first one on the element to label, but dont use text then I place all my note leaders where I want all the others to be in the right places then use copy increment text to make D3 etc this works but the text and leader are not associated...too bad place note doesnt have a copy increment text ....we can get round this but its all time consuming and prone to error and means lots of typing is too slow.... using a place note with copy increment built in would awsome... looks like its a job for VBA...

I cant believe I asked for this only 4 years ago.... I still have to place text note, with circle , put the text ie 1 , then place the next one and add the next text ie 2...
too bad we cant have copy increment text for this feature.... I have seen a vba macro for this on a USA DOT but I couldn't get it to work with local settings for arrow and font for local standards.....so I gave up re trying to use the usa macro ... sorry don't have it anymore and don't remember where but start with Caltrans , then Ohio... or vba your own and share it with us plebian vba'ers... hahaha...
one of my buddies just places the note use the circle with the leader and a space then later places the first piece of text and use the copy increment works but its not associated with the place not tool..
