I have a saved view in sheet model set to illustration shadow. It shows faces away from light in shade but it does not actually cast shadows. Is there a way to make it cast shadows? Example below. Top one is model bottom is saved view in sheet.

please check the following:
In shaded views, the new transparency Threshold setting controls whether transparent geometry cast shadows, if the transparency threshold is on and the transparency of the object is above the threshold value will not cast shadows.

I've turned the transparency threshold off but still no shadows in the sheet view.
Could you please send me the file for testing?
