Hello,
I am new to Microstation V8i SS2.
I need to produce a northing/easting grid and label so that looks like attached image. Preferably have the labels read the correct location versus just typing-in values manually. Is there a way to produce this in Microstaiton?
Email me off line I have a macro I can send you now that does exactly what you want its public domain and we have been using it for years it will produce exactly what you want from two data points one NW corner and the other SE corner and it wants to know what spacing you want then it just does the rest instantly very fast saves lots of time...
you can of course do the same thing by hand but it needs you do yo a little maths to calculate the needed offsets from the edge of borders...

Bob, the cost would depend on the region you are located in. Would suggest you contact your local sales rep.

What do you mean 4year time warp , it came up as a new posting because somebody clicked and made a reply so I replied again.. FYI click on the posting and download if you want the macro..... its MSTN Basic so I'll be flamed for providing it or even mentioning it here .. but what the heck its free and still works in V8i ss3 & 4... when we go over to CE then we'll cross that bridge when we have too...
and this solution doesnt need BMap... just msnt
Yea, so it's like 6 or 8 thousand

As I mentioned, where you are located would depend on the cost. I am located in Australia and am not in Sales so cannot provide this information as well as not knowing where you are located. Please contact this group to obtain the costs involved in upgrading.
