Ho can I devide a line in equal segments (in Microstation) in one command?
In example in AutoCAD this can be done by the divide command.
Thanks in advance,
Jacques.
in curve utilities we have the facet curve tool.

really cool Karsten .. I only thought it was only for curves ... I never thought it worked with lines... this must have changed a few years ago SS1 V8i..... I dont remember it in xm or v8 2004 working like that...

Well, when you're looking to divide a line, or break a line, who would ever think to look for something called "Facet Curve", which is buried in the "Curve Utilities"?
:-\
Just for additional options:
In the Modify B-spline Curves toolbox. Try the "Split Curve" tool. It will work with Lines, Linestrings, Curvestrings, Arcs, Complex Strings, Shapes, Arcs, Circles/Elipses & more. It has the ability to Divide by the Equal # of Segments, at Vertices (Kink) Points or try By Parameter (% of entire element (i.e. 0.5 = 50%)
