Is there a way to set pattern angle by selecting an element or by 2 points.
got a simpler macro that a kind microstation user sent me. click on the element and presto your angle is set

Jon this is true. But I have noticed all to often that in the Autocad community they share much more than the Microstation community. I think this leads some to believe that Autocad is better or easier to write code for.
sorry but in my experience the small microstation community is far willing to share macros, mdls etc especially help and assistance than when I was in acad world...where as in acad world there is more assistance from the autodesk site and more documentation.. I think the perception is because there are more sites and forums and seemingly more users for acad than mstn...
And if I get code from any generous posters offline ( Jon) being a grateful recipient I usually ask the source first if it can be shared and if not then I dont mention I got the code at all...
and If I have any code I made and want to share it or share some public domain code I mention it and ask to email me for it publicly or upload it here ...
