you have not provided enough information to help you (I recommend to read Forum best practices at first).

• What version of MicroStation (build number) do you use?
• What Windows do you use?
• What HW configuration (especially graphics card) do you use?
• Is it the problem of one particular design file or it appears for all files (both existing and newly created)?
• Did MicroStation work without a problem in the past on the same computer?

Display problems are often caused by old video drivers or by corrupted design files.

so what  did you do exactly to resolve the graphics  card problem,,, someone else  may have same problem... so just  replying   "........yes it was my graphics card  "

That looks like the same situation we've run into with NVidia graphics cards and the latest driver release. There is a problem with the most up-to-date driver (don't know which cards are effected) so you need to revert back to the previous.

Nvidia have released a driver that affects Microstation files.

It is GeForce driver version 337.88 . It is recommended to revert back to an old driver if you can such as 335.23.

It is the nvidia driver, I used the nvidia control panel to make bentley use may onboard graphics card and not my nvidia card. You can also revert back to a previous driver as suggested by the other postes

To avoid misunderstandings... I don't think that the driver really 'affects' the files. It's rather a display issue for direct X graphics. We encounter the same thing here, but open GL based CAD seems to work fine.

Also this seems to depend on the hardware running the bad 340.52 driver. I could verify that this one does NOT work for Quadro FX 3700, Quadro FX 3800 (although listed as supported). On the other hand a machine running a quadro K2000 340.52 seemd to be OK.

Can somebody confirm other graphic boards that seem to be OK. Perhaps we can summarize this as 'older boards are not recommende with 340.52'?
