It's great that i can delete holes now but if i need to delete 20 holes frankly its faster to just start over in some cases. I know i can "delete above" but sometimes that's not easy to do in a long property tree. It would be great if i could hold down a modification key like maybe TAB (given Alt and Shift already do things to your selection tool...) and have the selection only target features possibly on a already selected element, or not? I'm sure there is a limitation there on what can be done. Then from that selection independent of using the properties menu i could "move" all those features on the part to a new location or even delete them with a single key stroke.
