I think Bentley could make a better logging option for WMS errors as the "old camera" error checking. Replacing detailed xml error with camera picture is not a good approach. In WMS requests Bentley desktop apps explicitly require to have errors returned in XML(?EXCEPTION=application/vnd.ogc.se_xml) but it is not logged anywhere and just replaced with old camera picture(even in printouts) . Mostly it doesn't mean that WMS server is not responding but actually is because the WMS requests from Bentley products is incorrect and it is critical to know what is requested and what is reported. Moslty when this picture shows the WMS server works from other 3rd party softwares without issues.
