The new mesh edge display tool is great. It really shines when you compare how clean and legible the imported mesh objects are compared to the competition.
It would be good to follow through on the advances introduced.
- It would be great to enhance the Edge Display tool will work with nested elements. In the BIM world, most elements will be nested in an assembly. If this is not possible, then the tool would find very limited use... mainly with terrain type meshes.
- It would also be good to link up with the new IFC importer / reference functionality. A lot of elements are imported as meshes in Cells / Shared Cells. It would awesome to have nice clean meshes.
- Ditto for DWG, SKP, OBJ, 3DS import
- Display Styles: can the small tools can be used to controll edge display?
