When Saving As Using Level Remapping, Saved View Need to Have Their Level Tables Remapped

Using the Save As dialog with a Level Mapping CSV file does not remap the Levels within any saved view. The view extents and other display settings are retained, but any level on or off settings are lost. I assume they or "orphaned" once their level names no longer match any found in the file.

    What might make this even easier and clearer is if you could provide a remapped DGN file containing the correct result you are expecting? In that DGN file, you can create a couple of new saved views with the desired level on/off states to depict what “correct result” looks like. We can then compare it side-by-side with the saved views produced by the remapper tool to understand the differences and describe them more clearly. Make sense?

    Yes I got the results I expected but I can't say it worked the way maybe you expected.. I have tested this in both CONNECT Edition and MicroStation V8i SS4 and I get the same results.

    Well, the next time I have to make a change, I will try this process again and see if I can get the same results.
    

    Just to be sure, We are still using Ss3. (Actually Power InRoads Ss4, but I believe the CAD Engine is still Ss3)

    I have reviewed your files and also your comments in the PDF you provide:
    

    If the saved view uses a bitmap of level numbers to recall level on/off states, there needs to be a way in the remap process to either map the original level numbers with the remapped levels, or to remap the bitmap from the original level numbers to the new remapped level numbers.
    

    I was able to save you file see the remapping applied and the saved views were able to be invoked in the new file that was created. So I sill don't what you are requesting.
    

    i.e. Level "ANNO-DGTN" to "G-ANNO-DGTN" and still applied in saved view "Design-Build"
    

    Could you simply state in the example file you sent what you are not seeing and what like to be able to do?
