Enhancement 1027429

Grouping levels

I often get drawings with 200 - 500 levels which could be sorted more easily if grouped or organized hierarchically just like "files in folders". I know there are filters and creative naming that help but expanding or collapsing level groups would make it way easier to work with files cluttered with levels.

The Map Manager in Bentley Map is/was similar in appearance to the Element Templates display in MicroStation V8i. You can create Level Groups (folders) and then dynamically drag + drop levels into the groups. Using the right-click pop-up menu over the Level Group/Folder entry you can turn on/off all of the levels in the group, isolate, fit, etc.

Maybe an expanded functionality of Level Filters and the Filters display in the Level Display dialog is really what we're asking for. With the Filters display setting being able to expand each filter listing to see the levels defined for that filter. Add additional functionality to the right click menu. Also list levels that do not belong to any filter.
