I know Enhancement 643625 has been filed prior regarding the line style editor. But since I had been using the line style editor repeatedly the other day, more ideas came up. Perhaps Bentley can add those to the file.
Double clicking to edit offset value.
Double clicking on a Type or Description should take you to the linestyle.
Double clicking on a offset value should edit that value.
Retain sorting order.
In both the Sub-Components and in the Select Components part, one can sort by Type or Description. At the moments any kind of sorting is not retained, but immediately forgotten after switching between dialogs. Sorting order should be retained during a session.
Narrow down the search results.
When adding any line component to a custom compound, the Select Component list requires excessive scrolling. A search box or filter should narrow down the list of components. Typing "1" would show al line styles that have character 1 in it for instance. Results should be retained.
