Reference attach should support PDF files as vectors. Snapping to PDF objects would be available and georeferencing would be supported for those PDF files with georeferencing information.
You could even copy texts from the vector pdf. Like you are able when you cut and paste a text from a given PDF.
If you feel that we should also be able to convert PDF to vector (acad 2017 does this) please vote this idea communities.bentley.com/.../pdf_converter
AutoCAD can snap to pdf according to examples on youtube.
We're stuck changing pdf to a dwg with online convertors or spending $$
Agree with this idea for 100%. To attach vector format as raster is not good solution and snapping ability is missing a lot.
