Blue lines show when plotting excel links w/B&W driver

I'm trying to plot a linked excel spreadsheet in black and white.  I'm placing the spreadsheet into a black and white boarder but the outline of the linked spreadsheet always prints in blue (which is also how it displays on screen).  I'm using a b&w color table, a b&w plot driver and I've even tried using the monochrome setting on the printer options.  Any ideas?
