Batch plot border text w tag value

It is not very clear (at least to me) what it is you are looking for... if you are referring to the border information that is in Print Driver Configuration files, that is pretty limited (what is possible to covered in Help > About). But there are other options, too, like using Text Substitution in pen tables that might provide what you want.

How could I get the value of a tag from the drawing into the replacement field for text substitution?  So the tag value will plot out with the other typical border information.

Text substitution works for Text and Tags -- you would need to place the Tag where you would want it to display on the print out.
