Hello,
Here is my problem maybe somebody out there can help me out with this. I usually use an element to do my clip boundary so I can come back and modify it when ever I want. The problem with this is that when I do that and then clip mask something on a reference it stops showing up on my print outs but I can still see them on my screen. (When I uses a fence for my clip boundary this doesn't happen.) The wired thing on this is that if somebody else the clip boundary and I do the clip mask it prints fine its only when I do the clip boundary. (They can also print out the document when I did everything on it and they do get the ref to show up and like I said I don't.) So if anybody has any comments or has had this problem and got it fix I appreciate your help.
Thank You.
Check your pentables. Maybe you're not using the same one as the other person. Just a thought.
What kind of element is the clip boundary using and how was it created? What kind of element is the clip masks using and how was it created?
Roy
The pentables are the same they are set for the project we are working on and not for each indivdual user.
Roy,
The clip boundary elements is a regualr element created the same on two different computers but when i created it and clipmask the ref file i cliped won't print. If the other computer creates it it works fine i can clip mask and everthing and it will print fine.
The clip mask is created with a regualr fence block or shape.
I'm not sure if this matters, are you creating the element as a hole or solid? Have you tested if you create the clip boundary from a fence does it have the same behavior?
