I am having trouble using MS_PENTABLE_REGEX_LEVEL_COMPARE. I have the variable set to 1 in my workspace.
In the drawing I am trying to plot, I have several levels with the prefix "XSC_" (such as "XSC_CL Elevation Text", "XSC_Curb Subgrade", "XSC_Ditch", etc. In my pentable I have a section with this line: "IN_LEVEL = ^XSC_.*". That should match any level name starting with XSC_. However, it appears to only match the first level (alphabetically) and ignores the rest of them.
Am I doing something wrong?
edit: Forgot to mention I'm using 08.05.02.70 on Windows XP Pro SP3.

Pen table Level regular expression wildcard
HTH - Roy
Thanks for the link. The way I read it, that poster's issue had to do with trying to use a combination of 1) pen table prioritization 2) regular expression level name matching and 3) 3d design files. Andrew Edge says, "You're seeing an incompatibility between pen table multiple section matching and the legacy priority implementation." The "legacy priority implementation" seems to be the subject of the blog post that he links to, where it explains that this is a feature of V8 XM Edition and later. I am using 2004 edition, where this feature does not exist. Furthermore, his recommended remedies include converting the drawings to 2d, where presumably this problem does not occur. My drawings are already 2D, and yet I am having this issue.
