Plotting to PDF Locking up Session

Last week, I plotted a number of drawing from V8.5 using the local DOT's PDF.PLT files. This week, any attempt causes my session to freeze. 

Creating a new UPF did not help. Has anyone seen anything like this and do you have any idea what could cause this to occur?

If I use a different version of MicroStation with the same driver, it works fine.
