In Batch print log file I get error codes but there are no explanations what they mean?

Hi Faithson2000,

Since this thread is more than one year old, I would suggest that you start a new thread in order to get better answers.

Also, providing some dataset and a detailed worklow would certainly help.

For example, maybe you could provide one files that you have recurrently problem with and its attached raster.

HTH,

I've got 50 files to print with raster images referenced into my sheets drawing. I tried to batch print them but only 10% of the sheets came out alright. The rest of the sheets were missing a lot of info and the aerial images being cut into half or more. Some are blank sheets. They were batch printed great without the aerial images. I thought it was memory problem but i've got 4GB Memory in my machine. Already tried to zip all the images into smaller size but it did not help. I am using Microstation XM.

Thanks Andrew promised to correct this.

Hi Oto,

Forget about my request, Andrew Edge confirmed that he was looking into this issue.

Oto,

Do you have a sample DGN dataset that you can send to us so we can see what is going on? I'll try to reproduce your issue using local datasets we have, but it might be easier to see your error if we can have the same data you are manipulating.

Hoping this will help,

Now tried to print on v8i Print Organizer and MS crashed.

One of the suspect is pentable as when printing by File->Print without it then everything is Ok.

To be precise v8i doesn't like this portion altrought in XM it works

BEGIN Active_priority

    FILE          = 0
    PRIORITY      = 1
END

Here is an error report from message center:

The document was not printed due to an error

Exception encountered inside [callPlotHookMethod [Resymbolize]]

So error 253 or 248 means the same in XM.

Then how should I rearrange pentable so that all text elements are on top of everything and all other active file elements are on top of reference files? there are no options to change reference file priority when printing...

Looks like I resolved the issue.It seems it was because of lack ofmemory.

1. Pagefile was with fixed size from 2GB to 4G. Now switched to system managed size.

2. Added /3g switch in boot.ini as system has 2GB of memory.

Now after 2 days half of rasters are printed and still going :)
