Exporting to PDF Error...

Hi,
I am trying to export a DGN / CIT file to PDF using the IPLOT Export to PDF function. On a few files I keep getting this error below...

I am not real sure why this happens. The only way I have found to correct this issue is to just recreate the drawing from scratch. I have also tried using ProjectWise InterPlot Organizer and nothing seems to work. HELP!!!

  • Okay.... I found out that it is my CIT file that's attached to my DGN file that is causing all the problems. Still don't know how to fix the issue so any suggestions???? I also have trying to re-create the drawing from scratch and that is not working either. As of right now the only option I have it to dump the CIT file and make a new one. I really don't want to do this, as it would create a much heavier workload. Thanks in advance.

  • Seeing as I wasn't getting much luck here on the forum I issued a trouble ticket through my I.S. department. They contacted Bentley directly and they came up with this fix. If you get this DELETEER error when trying to export to PDF from the IPLOT Main window click on the Options drop down and click on Raster like shown below.

When the IPLOT-Raster Options window opens the best settings I found for me were Quality Factor: 100 ; Brightness: -100 ; Contrast: -100. Also you are going to need to check the box next to "Plot raster references in grayscale." Like shown below.

NOTE: Once you have set these settings they will not change even if you close down MicroStation. If you do not want to use these settings for later prints then you are going to need to uncheck the box to plot raster references in grayscale.

I hope that this well help anybody who is having this problem.

    Thanks,
