How to grey out references?

Hi, I am producing a external plan showing manhole locations in colour and i'd like to print a copy out with consultant engineers services information in light grey underneath to differentiate my info from theirs, but their references are in full colour. I'm sure it is possible as I've seen it done before. Any ideas on how to achieve this?ThanksTom

There are a couple of ways that you can do what it sounds like you are looking to do:

Use a pen table to "screen" the output in various references

In the References dialog, select the reference(s) you want to "screen" and then select Settings > Adjust Colors...

Both of these are documented fairly extensively in Help > Contents

Couldn't this also be done by selecting their references' levels in the Level Manager and doing an Override color to a gray printing color? Also make sure the Level Overrides is turned on in the View Attributes (Ctrl+B).

Yeppers... that is definitely another way of doing it. Really depends on preference, though -- like whether you want to see the display the same as what prints, etc.
