Howdy.
We use isocp.shx as our primary font for drawing in our AutoCAD Drawings.
We are noticing that when printing from Microstation the fonts are coming out really 'Blocky'.
I have attached a PDF to demonstrate the issue.
Anyone come across this before?
Microstation V8XM 08.09.04.88
Does the same with Redline V8XM 08.09.04.51
Ok, so I've learnt this:
It has something to do with ENDCAP or similar. The fonts are printing with rounded corners at junctions, but not putting 'circles' on the end of straight sections. This is causing the issue.
However, I still dont know how to apply a fix.
Have been suggested to add the following line to the pen table file:
If (type == text) then Endcap = circle Endif
I put this in the *.tbl table file itself just above 'END GLOBAL' but it doesnt seem to make any difference.
Any ideas?
Ok. I entered the lines into settings file as a design script and it worked perfectly.
What a mission for what would seem like a common issue...
