I have my border referenced and my print area set to search references with the correct print boundary symbology settings.

When set up right, this works great.
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
Check for other models, extra shapes. Generally, if it is plotting more than it should, something in you settings is telling it to do exactly what it is doing.
