Please see attached. This problem only exists with this excel file and only when rasterize is turned off in the plot dialog. It is not plotcfg specific. The microstation plot preview looks correct.... the PDF is messed up. Turning on rasterize fixes the issue. None of my other sheets with linked excel files behaves this way. I would prefer to not turn on rasterize for this one file in our project.
Has anyone experienced this?
1. How are you making your pdf? is it the native ustn pdf.plt?
2. What resolution are you using?
3. Have you tried using printer.plt and say a windows driver like pdf 995 or AdobeAcrobatWriter?
4. Does this excel file have to be created to pdf from ustn can't you create pdf from inside excel?
5. Why not Upload a copy of this dgn with the excel embeded and we'll see if we all get the same results.
It would seem you really have answered your own question in when you say its only this excel file that has a problem
So logically it must be the excel formating and how ustn see's it... try exporting the excel to csv then open a new session in excel and import the csv and redo the table how you want it by hand dont copy paste from the old excel and try using this new excel file in ustn does it still behave badly in pdf? if not then its something fishy with the original excel formating.
