Print 90 degree rotation ALWAYS

At the bottom of print dialog box there is a 90 CW, 90 CCW, etc.  Is there anyway to ALWAYS set this to 90 CCW?

Thanks in advance,

  • If you are using a PLTCFG, you should be able to edit that (through File > Print, Edit Printer Driver Configuration, Advanced section), save it, and that will be the default from then on.

  • I did as you mentioned above.  I don't see what the "Automatic Rotation Direction" actually does.  It doesn't seem to rotate my plots the same as manually selection 90 CW from the drop down menu.  Have you tried this with success?

Also in http://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/microstation_v8i/microstation_v8i_printing/f/19568/p/39916/89769.aspx the second posting from the bottom is by Andrew Edge.  In the fourth paragraph up from the bottom his first sentence states, "The 90cw / 90ccw rotation property in the printer driver configuration is not an absolute rotation value."  A couple paragraphs above that he states:

"A print style is a set of operations that can be applied to print definitions. You can't apply the contents of a print style to a printer driver configuration (.pltcfg) file. However, a .pltcfg can contain the name of a print style. That print style will be applied to the print definitions in the print set whenenver the .pltcfg is selected."

What is the difference between a "Print style" and a "Print definition/configuration"?

Also I don't seem to have a "Print Organizer" in my version of Microstation XM?

Thanks for your patience and assistance,
