Printing to pdf won't shade

When I create pdfs everything looks fine but when I get redline comments back this problem always comes up. The logo doesn't look like others from different users and this logo is on every sheet. The image on the left is from the logo of a different users redline comments and the image on the right is what the logo looks like when I create the pdf.

I am the only one using Microstation while everyone else is using AutoCAD. I have a ctb file I'm supposed to use but that doesn't seem to work for me. I am desperate!

I am lucky to have this work. I work from home and upload my pdfs to an ftp site. I can do the work but if I can't resolve this I'm afraid I won't be asked to continue.

I hope there is a solution out there.

Thank you

  • This  might  prove to be  a  solution but  I can't  test it.. I assume that  the  logo  jpg  is the  same  provided to you as  is provided to the  others right. ok go to the  Autodesk web site  and down load the latest True view its  free and it will simulate  autocad for  viewing  and  printing  also get a pdf virtual printer driver like pdf995 or  primo pdf these are  also free and act like a  windows virtual printer use google to find the  free printer... .. now  after you  install the  Trueview  set it  up to use the  acad ctb you  have  been provided or ask for it  again but  for  acad not  converted for  microstation

Now with true view open your autocad drawing  you did in microstation and print it to the  windows pdf driver  eg  primo and  if you  set the  pent table  correctly  you should now have a  pdf that  looks exactly  like your autocad rivals including the logo...

BTW are you and your  rivals attaching the logo jpg the  same  way?

Could you  get the  company  to give you a  blank titlelblock with the logo attached the same way it  is for your  rivals  ie is it pasted or is it  xrefed as a raster.. this can cause  problems .. I prefer the raster xref rather than copy  paste this doesn't always work perfect for me either
