3D PDF prints to dark

Morning,

Hope someone will be able to assist? I have to print a 3D pdf which I have no trouble doing, but the pdf comes out a lot darker than what is displayed in Microstation.

What I have tried in order to get it to display lighter –

  1. Had my Default Lighting selected and set it to the max.
  2. In my Light Manager I set my Lux under Ambient brighter.
  3. Set the Brightness of my images to 50, in order for them to display brighter once I drape them onto my surface.

Microstation on left and pdf on right. I have played with the settings in Adobe selected varies forms of lighting, but nothing comes close to what is shown in MS.

Thanks

  • just asking are you using

printer.pltcfg to print to a windows pdf virtual printer or are you using pdf.pltcfg ?

    Are you using any pentables?

Are you telling MS plot dialog to rasterise ( tick box)

Your ms view is it a rendered view?

What version of V8i are you using ?
