A Print Style can be defined in a pltcfg, as the default, or applied manually.

A Print Style defining a pltcfg applies to the Print dialog and Print Organizer.

I suggest reviewing Andrew’s tutorial on Print Styles:

You are correct that there was a default Print Style being applied. I didn't realize that the plot dialog applied print styles. You have to go to Print Organizer to create them though, right? Shouldn't there be a "None" and/or "default" option in the plot dialog Settings»"Apply Print Style"?

Looking a little further into plot styles I was confused. Seems odd that you have to select a plotter configuration file and a print style is applied. The odd part here is that the Print Style also can define a printer configuration file. (I assume that it is only used in Print Organizer).

Kind Regards,
Scott
Confirm a Print Style is not turning the border off, either a default or one being applied in the .pltcfg. The Message Center should tell you if a Print Style is being applied. Print Attributes are defined in the Display tab of a Print Style.

RE: Border On = True not being honored after restarting MicroStation
