Hello, I have an object in my CAD file that I've attached a link to with "add link to element", trying to link to a PDF file on a server. I'm trying to get that object to keep the link when a PDF is generated of the CAD file so a person can click on the link in the PDF file and follow it to the same PDF that the CAD file references. The enable links is on in the plot config file but there doesn't appear to be any link connection to the element in the PDF file. I tried the same thing using the old engineering links (as HTML with the drive and path name) and this time the link does flow through to the PDF but when I click on the link in the PDF file nothing happens? Is it possible to still do this?
thanks,
Kevin

I couldnt get Mstn SS3 to do this either but I could do it with a pdf editor like full version Acrobat not the reader...
There are lots of pdf tools around some are free too...
