Any reason why now we have another print button that does almost exactly the same thing as the first one?
The only thing I see that it's different with this new one is it always stays highlighted so now when we want we only have to hit ENTER and print starts.
Regards,
It may be Windows standard but there is big difference, in other programs you don't have Preview window which needs to be updated. This is totally unacceptable as it sends print jobs without users notice and it is exception from other Microstation tool behaviour. There should be only one item in focus for any time, it is against normal practice about how input fields work in other programs.
I see industry standard has silently changed as in Microsoft Office Ribbon interface no longer has Print button as default but Microstation still has it.
Hi Oto,
I really hate the Enter key executing a print command. When I am entering information into a field, I should to be able to hit the "Enter" key to complete the entry. That's why that key is called "Enter". It's not called the "Execute" key!
I also am really disappointed that people will follow Microsoft when they make a mistake. It would be better to have things work correctly, rather than work like Microsoft.

Microsoft has changed it back.
