May I ask what is the “Display Descriptions” designed for? I don't see any differences in PW Explorer after switching on/off.

With SS3 MicroStation, when “Display Descriptions” is enabled in PW Explorer, _FILES_ will print the file description. When “Display Description” is disabled, _FILES_ will print the file name. This is fixed in MicroStation CONNECT Edition. The workaround for SS3 is to use $(filename (_DGNFILE)) in place of _FILES_ in the pen table.

Thanks. Actually I am not that sure if it is the pen table problem. It might be Microstation's problem.

From the below screen capture, you can see the current file path is PW:\\...\....\FILE NAME which has no extension.

But some of us show the extension.
