Hello, I'm quite new user of microstation, my knowledge is pretty basic. Recently upgraded from PowerDraft V8i (SELECTseries 2) to MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 3) (which might be the cause of the problem). I have already searched similar threads on many forums, with no luck.
Until very recently, everything was printed properly, and I hardly changed any settings - suddenty I noticed that in all print work (both printing to PDF and directly to printer) the line weights turn to 0.
What is important, in print preview it is viewed properly, only the output file is corrupted.
I tried many ways of solving the problem:
- view attributes are set correctly
- I tried to modify print attributes
- I created new pen table, in which I performed Map Pen Weights option. I also tried to manage it via Element Selection Criteria - Element Output Actions
- I created new (as well as tested old) pltcfg file, in which i performed 'Weight Maps -> Define maps from design weight to print width'
None of the above had any effect at all, and I run out of ideas. I suspect that the solution is quite simple, I just fail to find it - does anyone have a solution?
Also regarding the upgrade from series 2 to series 3 - I still have the previous version on my PC, and I checked if the problem applies to the older one - right now when I print with series 2 the problem occurs just as well.
Also my friend performed printing on the same files and the output was correct, with all the line weights - so it excludes the possibility that the .dgn files are corrupted.
Best regards,
Adam
I have uploaded my files. The following:
pdf-xm-low
pdf-xm
are files that have been prepared by someone in the office, and used by a lot of people.
pdf - KUKA - it is the file I prepared after the problem occured, in an attempt to fix it
Also pen0001 was created recently to fix the issue.
I also attached gt_lib, gt_lib_ and new_interface, those are attached in my MS_DGNLIBLIST (gt_lib is mutual for everybody in the office)
I hope it helps with diagnosis.
Also I know that AutoCAD and Microstation should have nothing in common in regard of printing, but still - same problem with both programs, in the same time - seems like no coincident.
