I was using print organizer this morning. THEN suddenly I could not find the dialog box! I checked the Window drop down list, saw it, picked but no dialog popped up. I tried the keyin, different user, different interface and still got nothing. I went to Utilities>MDL applications>Browse>Bentley.MicroStation.PrintOrganizer.ma then Key-ins. I think microstation "sees" it because when I choose "printorganizer saveas" the "Save Print Set File" dialog box opens, waiting for me to name a pset. I rebooted the computer and still no dialog box.
Can anybody help me? I am ready to to back to batch plot.
Thanks
Can another user login on your pc and use microstation, do they then get the dialog box?
If they can then delete your upf file its become corrupt, if they cant then from the windows control programs uninstal choose repair mstn see if that fixes it..
if still no joy , then its time to remove and reinstall the program....sorry....

Not sure what to keep
... I think your customisations could be saved elsewhere but its just safer to remove and reinstall everything...
did you try all the things we suggested ie another user?
delete old user pref file and let mstn make new user pref?
windows repair?
Yes, I tried everything but no luck. I was ready for the IT guy to reinstall MS then he sent me a link from this web site.
It said that my PrintOrganizerSettings.xml has become corrupt and I should copy the xml file from a functional workstation and replace it.
THAT WORKED!!!! I tried to find more information about this before he sent me the link and could not sift through all of the things that came up.
iceageg, I had tried that too, thinking along the same line but still got nothing.
Thank you everyone for your interest and efforts to help resolve my issue
here is the link to the instructions on where to find the xml file
