Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a MicroStation or InterPlot Configuration Variable to force the active file to be pushed to the last (bottom) slot in the Reference File>Settings>Update Sequence dialog.
Does such a thing exist?
The goal is that, at ICS plot time, I want to foce the active file to be displayed last so that none of the refernece data is diasplayed on top of it.
I understand this can be set manually, and that there are element display orders and all sorts of other methods to control display order, but none of those that I am aware of are suitable for the specific circumstance.
Thanks in advance,
Michael
From what you are describing I would think this would be achieved in a Pen Table in something like the Processing Order.
Assigning this to the Printing and Plotting forum.

I seem to remember there was a config variable that forces this in msnt so its alway by default and then its not controlled by printing it just works itself out..
I 'll look it up and get back to you... later,,,
Well ....
I'm back now
There is a way to do it in your config but it only works on new files so you have to set the variables before you make a new drawing..
but if you do set the variable (s) then any new drawing created post variable will always have the active on top.. ie last
