I have a set of dwg sheet files that have dgn references and ProjectWise Rendition is not printing any of the references. All references are dgn except for the viewport on the sheet model.
References attached to the sheet are not printing either.
All files will print manually with no issue. The dwg sheets with dwg references will Rendition with no problem.
Has anyone ran into this and/or does anyone have any recommendations on how to resolve this before I request a ticket to be placed on this.
Various reason, one major could a bug in rendition in PW
2. Bentley versions make a difference
3. Reference attachment having various versions.
Check these you will be able to solve the issue.
Are there known bugs in certain versions of MicroStation or ProjectWise that interfere with rendition creation? Most of us only have access to the one version of any software that is loaded on our computer, or that our company has the license for.
What do you mean "reference attachment having various versions"?One of the selling points Bentley uses is the ability of MicroStation to use files in multiple formats.I would also question why the version of the drawing matters if the file can be seen and printed individually, but not in Rendition. I do understand that ProjectWise configuration is complex, and uses different processes from vanilla MicroStation.
Mark, you may want to post over to the ProjectWise forums. This is not a MicroStation issue - it is exclusive to the ProjectWise Rendition process, so those may be the people to help you.
Publishing is probably where I would start. Good luck!

In ProjectWise, right click on your sheet files, go to SET > SHOW REFERENCESMake sure the list of references matches what you see in the ref dialog.I've had this happen from time to time. PW loses the reference link for whatever reason, but on open, the ref files are read from the users local cache so everything looks OK, except for renditions.
