Is there a way to apply a Print Style to a specific drawing? I have different print styles that I use to print drawings such as Site Plans, Process plans, Dynamic Views... and I would like to be able to default the print style to the specific drawing. Therefore when a user opens the drawing and presses print it will print correctly with the correct print style.
Hi.
It might be a dirty hack, but if you record a macro where you choose the correct print style from the print dialogue, you can assign these macros to specific print tools for each type of drawings.
If you have some distinct difference in the file properties for each type, you could use a Show/Hide Test to show only the correct print tool for that type of drawing. I have tested by setting file Subject to "Site Plan".
Example:
I recorded the macro into "Default" vba project. The Show/Hide Test checks if the file subject is "SitePlan".The file subject is set in_ File→Properties→Summary→Properties, but the Show/Hide test could be linked to virtually anything specific in your files.

I took a look at this I never noticed there was anything after File→Properties...
How are these extras like revision number etc created or edited .. they seem to be imbedded in my seed file but I cant seem to access any of the settings to change it in the seed file itself .. mine is stuck with rev 7 for anything I make new with new and use the (my ) seed file?
