I wanted to see if there is a way to have a batch file that would start up MicroStation and launch Print Organizer and print the files in the organizer. Is there a command prompt that would load the organizer?
Texas,
I set up something like this in the spring. There were 4 things I had to do.
1. in MicroStation set up print organizer, save a pset
2. Set up VBA app to run on open - this is what kicks off Print Organizer. All it really does is enter the Print Organizer Key-Ins(I couldn't find a non-vba way to get the Print Organizer Key-Ins to run on startup. If you can find a way to do this let me know.)
3.Create a bat file to start MicroStation (make sure to include any workspace switches and drive mappings)
4. Use windows task scheduler to start MicroStation at the desired time.
I did need to remain logged in to my workstation, and turned off ProjectWise.

Thanks, I got it to work. It took me 3 files to get it to work. 1 batch file to fire off MicroStation, 2 a macro to run a txt file, 3 a txt file to run the organizer and open pset file and print it and exit MicroStation.
you wanna share those files with us here.. I could see it saving a lot of time not reinventing the wheel?
