Printing Raster (Microstation V8i SS4)

Hello,

I created plans with raster attachments, I didn't have any problems to print them, but the weird thing is just one sheet is printing what looks like to be a frame of the picture. I don't know how to get rid of that line.

Any suggestions? Thank you!

  • Morning Lucilia,

    • Could it be a Construction Element in the drawing or the original drawing of the pdf?
    • Possible Print > Settings > Print Attributes > Print Border box is checked.
    • Could it be a Boundary Display is On in the problem drawing's Presentation Dialog Box?

Just a couple of ideas that crossed my mind.

    Wish you the Best,

    • I don't know where to look if it is a construction element
    • Possible Print > Settings > Print Attributes > Print Border box is checked.
    • Print border is not checked
    • Could it be a Boundary Display is On in the problem drawing's Presentation Dialog Box?
    • where to turn off the boundary display? there is no problem drawing's presentation dialog box

  • I just had this same issue and it has been an issue in the past. Go into the References Dialog and make sure the column for Presentation is shown (if it is not shown, right click in the title area for the columns and check Presentation). Change the presentation of the reference file with the aerial to something like Smooth. This should fix the issue when printing the raster to .pdf format.

The line you see is where 2 aerial photos are side by side. I don't know why this happens but it only happens when plotting directly to a pdf and the presentation is set to wireframe for the reference.
