We have logged a service request [7000789496] already but maybe some users have encountered this and have a solution already...
We are using Mstn V8i SS3 we dont have Pwise. We all the same pcs with 16Gb Ram and core i7 cpus so its not about memory or pc power or graphic cards...
Most of us at my work can not create a new pset or add files extra dgns to existing shared psets on network made by other user.
When I try to use print organiser, or try to add a file or files to create a pset I get the following error and no files are added to pset and no pset created, I can use existing psets created by others but can not add extra dgns to them same error pops.. this is happening to 3 out of the 4 users we have tried
...only one user is working error free and they are the only one able to create new psets with PO...
However Manual printing no problems....here is picture of the error.. we get.. error is Exception encountered inside .WorkerMicrostationProxy.LoadDesignFile
Was this ever resolved? I am having a similar issue.
While the title of this thread may not directly apply to your situation, there are some comments in the rest of the thread that may be helpful for troubleshooting your issue.
Something else to consider - does everyone have read/write permissions to the directory where the PSETs are stored? It sounds like it's too simple, but as network permissions get developed, sometimes locations get restricted accidentally.
Also - which version of MicroStation are you using? SS3 as mentioned above, or something else? Also, are you running verticals such as Geopak or InRoads, or is it straight Microstation?
